I believe I have developed Gynecomastia from years of taking anti antidepressant and anti anxiety medication such as effexor and clonazepam. I am no longer on these drugs, but the side affects still remain the same. Can I remove the excess breast fat through diet and exercise or must I have surgery to get it removed. Thanks for the help

That type of fat, breast tissue, gland etc. is nearly impossible to drop completely without surgery. Of course exercise and diet will help you trimdown but most likely the improvements you wish to have will only be fully accomplished through surgery.

If you are overweight, it would be best to lose the weight. It will probably not reduce your breast size enough to satisfy you, but it will allow the surgeon to do his best for you.
The outcome of surgery depends a lot upon how good a patient you are.
