Title: Revision Sugery Question???

I had surgery in Feb. The doc removed some gladular tissue and fat. It has been nearly 4 months and my chest looks a lot better, but the nips are puffy. Also, the sides look different. Here are my questions...

-Should I look into getting a revision?
-How long does it take for the tissue and chest to completely recover after removing glad and fat tissue?
-What would need to be done to make the nips flat?
-Could scar tissue be the problem with the puffy nips?
-Do most people who have peri have to have a revision?

I perform many revisions surgeries for gynecomastia, but rarely on one of my own patients. 

Puffy Nipple Gynecomastia (http://www.plasticsurgery4u.com/puffy_nipples/index.html) can really distort the male chest.

Standard After Gynecomastia Surgery Pictures (http://www.plasticsurgery4u.com/revision_gynecomastia/chest_revision_pictures.htm) can better demonstrate the full nature of the deformity such as how the tissues move, scars, and adhesions or sticking tissues.  Tissues need to evolve and heal before considering revision.  This can take 6 months or longer.

4 months...you might still have some scar tissue. Most people look at revisions after 6 month post op.
