im 4 weeks post op, and mine is slloooooly going down, but im counting on working out, and cardio to get my skin tight everywhere on my body before i expect it to tighten just in one spot. it will take time

I'm 7 months post op and still have one puffy side from what I'm assuming is scar tissue. Once I'm at one year I'm going to ask about cortisone injections if it hasn't subsided.

Great question.  Answer is it varies with the elasticity of the patient's skin.  Given a young, healthy guy who has never been overweight, the skin will tighten and the areola will shrink literally in front of my eyes on the operating table.  If you take an older guy, or one who has been heavier and whose elasticity is diminished, the skin will tighten more slowly -- days to weeks or longer.

does compression vest help in tightening the skin?

for guys with mild gyne in their 30s, will it take more time for the skin to shrink?
