Title: i had surgery and i have a question.....
Post by: christof1 on August 29, 2010, 08:49:50 PM
hey guys, i had my gyno surgery 2.5 weeks ago. i understand it is very early and it takes time but i still have a question. my left nipple looks really good right now, the incision was made right below the actuall nipple. everything looks flat and great. on the right side it looks different. the incision looks like it may have been made a little higher on the actuall bottom part of the nipple. when i look at my right nipple from the side it looks like there is extra skin/ puffyness in a u shape,  where the incision was made. this is making the bottom part of the nipple stick out and not look normal. it looks like the nipple is stil not flat to the chest. is this normal? does this often happen when the incision is made on the bottom part of the nipple? do you think that it will flatten out over time?

It is not unusual for there to be swelling right near the incision -- thereby yielding what appears to be a puffy nipple.

Best to post some really good close-up photos so that we can understand your problem better.
