It was the consultant who said yes straight away as i was in bits. it took me around 18 years from when i was 12 to get this sorted.

Post by: Worrier on July 17, 2005, 06:05:26 AM: I'm the opposite, GP is quite happy for me to have surgery but consultant is dragging her feet as apparently I just need lipo.
I would either put more pressure on your GP ie talk about how it is effecting you mentally or failing that change GP's as you have a right to do under NHS guidelines.
