Title: Swelling and bruising

I had my gynecomastia surgery last Monday on February 23rd, and as of today 8 days later my swelling and brusiing got worse.  The surgeon said this is expected.  I have a huge area of bruising and discoloration...my arm pits are purple.  It feels better with the compression vest.

I was told the swelling will start going down slowly the end of this week.

Even with the swelling it looks amazing.  I'm 49 years old what a great decision! 

Anyone have excessive bruising?

Congrats on your surgery!

I had minimal bruising with my surgery and they were all gone in about 2 weeks post-op.  Just be patient.
