After years of trying to get the surgery free through the state I decided on monday that I would contact a private clinic to get it removed and on this thursday I'll have the surgery :)
I asked my doctor how the surgery would be and I asked if they would cut under the nipple and he said "No, that's going to leave ugly scars, we always make a cut "inside" the areola"
He also said that he wouldnt do any lipo-suction but instead remove the gland and sew fat from the sides under my nipples.
Is this normal? Cutting in the areola and sewing the side fat under the areola?

Never heard of that? Most have Lipo and GLAND removal.

Most plastic surgeons make a curved incision on the underside of the areola, so that the scar lies at the junction of darker and lighter skin. This helps camouflage the scar. And most plastic surgeons perform both liposuction and direct tissue excision.
