I know.. 6 months is where things should take shape. My only concern is that surgeons around here say that on day 1 your chest should look very close to what it's going to be in 6 months. Mine, the left side was perfect on day 1 and is still now, some mild swelling, if any. The right side was very swollen on day 1 (the same size as pre-op),.. in 3 days, the sutures broke. It was very obvious that it was very swollen, or was that left-over fat? Currently, I am sure there isn't much gland or scar. I don't feel much. There just this mysterious squishy tissue.. fat or swelling I don't know. It is definitely smaller in size than before, but still comparatively bigger than the left side. It looks like an ugly little side-boob, a miniature version of my prior.
So yeah, just venting... wondering if my 1 day post-op means anything or if I am worrying too much.
Thanks for any input!
