Can someone thats had the surgery in australia tell me how much it costs.

I dont have private health insurance but could get it.

Also how does private health insurance work? If I get it now how long before I can use it to pay for surgery? Will I have to say upfront I plan on getting this operation in the future?

mine was about 3,300 doing it at a day surgury in adelaide. Medicare would not let me claim any back which sucked. wish i had payed more and got a decent doctor
