Title: Why two surgeries?
Post by: benny1 on March 02, 2005, 12:47:05 PM
I've read that some of you have dealt with your gyne problem by having two surgeries.  Is this because it sometimes takes two surgeries to achieve the desired results, or did something go wrong the first time around?

My surgery left me looking much better, but not quite how I'd like to appear.  I'm trying to attack my situation with diet & exercise, but I don't know whether that will do the trick. ???

Sometimes it takes 3 surgeries if the underlying cause is not corrected before any surgery.

The PS will $collect each time you tell him to cut'm out.

Why have you had multiple surgeries?  Does it grow back, or is it requiring "steps" to achieve your desired result?

I also wonder about nipples getting lower because of gyne.  Is there a way to raise the chest/nipples after things have been saggy (I mean beyond just weight lifting)?

Some people have hormone impalances that causes it to grow back. Also some are no satisfied w/ the results.

unrealistic expectations, inexperienced surgeon, BDD, hormone imbalance, there's many many reasons why people need more than 1 surgery.
