Post by: Zardoz on March 18, 2005, 07:05:14 AM
Here are some pics.  I personally know I have gyne because it has terrorized me since I was twelve.  But I want some of you to tell me what you think.  Is it Gyne?

It better be Gyne, I just spent $600 on a plane ticket to Toronto, just to get diagnosed by Dr.Fielding.  Then I have to fly back in June.  So much money for sanity and esteem.

Yep its gynecomastia. Why don't you just go to a local plastic surgery? You will be paying a lot less money.
I did(a ps that was about 30 miles away) Look at my results below. Compare them to others on here that had surgery with "gyne experts"

Both surgerys final results look exactly the same.
I only payed $2,900. Most others payed over $4,600.

Seems like a pretty mild case.  Working out will help your self esteem a lot.  I think it's way worse in your head than it is in reality.

The Dr in Toronto will be the cheapest option I have researched.  Any local Surgeon (Which are also inexperienced) will cost $3000 to $5000 dollars.  Dr.Fielding is a gyne specialist that will work for under $1000 according to my research.  He is also very experienced.

Yes...It is gyne, ask my tortured soul.

dude- it is totally gyne.
I think you know that!

overall your case is lightly worse than mine was pre-op, though your nips are way less puffy than mine (were/are still as a result of scar tissue ).

changing things that make you unhappy in your life, requires action.

just know - that you dont get surgery and voila! its over.
post-op you can look forward to another long and testing process , known as "recovery". Unless you are very fortunate ( where you'd be looking at 6-8 weeks to put any gyne-related worries in the past), it could be many more months of swelling, scar tissue, and possibly even a result necessatating a revision or 2 or 3.

still, you may not get where you want to be before too long or even at all, but I am quite confident that any result you end up with will be in the very least " an improvement"
