Title: Steri Strips and scarring

How long did you guys wear the steristrips. I am 5 weeks post-op...I heard from others to keep them on all the time to help reduce scarring...I dunno!!! The PS took them off and didn't put them back on, but if it helps with scarring why didn't he put new ones on. ???

I was told to remove them 21 days after surgery.

Did you have any scarring?? I am 5 weeks and have a red scar around my areola. Are you using scar treatment?? Is it helping??

the polysporin sheets you talk about - i had to use adhesive tape to keep them on...bottom line, theyre a pain in the ass for me at least....plus, the worst thing is, i developed a seemingly permanent rash from the adhesive that now forms a picture frame around my still present surgery scars...
