hello ive had gynecomatia (puffy nipples) for four years now at  14 it appeared when i was 10years old and i saw my dotor reffered me to a specialist told me it was normal etc i went back again at 12 because i wernt happy still sead its normal went back at 14 refereed me to a surgeon on the nhs took me about 6 weeks wait to get an appointment.went there saw the surgeon told me about it now im getting the surgery dint take much hassle i just want to know how long it takes on a waiting list and is surgeory good thanks any questions please ask

How on earth you got surgery at 14 I don't know. My doc told me to basically f*** off twice when I used to have it and I was 16.

You're a very lucky lad, i'll give you that.

im guessing each doctors different and at the end of the day its elective surgery.you're paying them for the service, so with enough persistence im sure you could convince a doctor to give you surgery.. its your own risk getting surgery so early as your hormones are all over the place and there is the possibility of it growing back, you just have to convince your PS that this condition is very detrimental to your everyday life.

no it was the same doctor (gp) that i went to since 10 hes my doctor so he knows ive had problems with it

Elective surgery? I was under the impression all operations done by the NHS were free.

it is but he must not be from uk so he probabily dosent know that its free
