How it Goes Away

Hi guys, I have had puffy nipples for a little over a year now I have a gland under my nips about an inch across I am 14 and I was wondering if this could ever go away. I have also been reading and I am still not sure how the pubertal gynocomastia goes away some people say it's overnight and I am wondering how this is possible. So how does it go away and is there anything I can feel in my nips that will tell me it's going away or shrinking? Tenderness, not tender, erect, etc. Has anyone ever tried freezing their nips?

So it's been less than 2 years and you are 14? I think you are in time to avoid surgery, you can try tamoxifen for a couple of months and see how it goes, there is a high % that will go away.
Take care of that right away dont let more time pass, go see a specialist, Good luck

It's possible it will go away, but unlikely as you have had it for over a year now. If it was going to go away, it probably would have quickly or over a span of a few months after it finished growing. Usually males will have some breast gland growth during puberty and then it will go away without them even noticing it.

It's possible you could feel it shrinking, but you've had it for over a year.. it more than likely grew then just stopped. Don't freeze or take ANY drugs that people recommend online.

I would highly recommend you wait half a year(just to make sure it doesn't go away on its own), and if it doesn't change at all after that time, then think about surgery and discuss it with your parents.

There is a difference between growth and swelling. Lots of boys have swelling that lasts for a while then goes away. If there was actual tissue growth then it does not go away. Generally speaking, If the size and condition of the breasts has not changed in two years it is considered stabilized and will not  change.
