Will Gynecomastia ever disappear naturally?

Hi,
I'm 16 and, since I was roughly 13, my right nipple has been puffy and big, particularly when it's hot. When pressed upon, it feels hard underneath the surface and is a little bit tender, though not very noticeably. When I am cold or have just come out of the shower etc, it goes to how a normal person's body should be. However, I am always very self-conscious when it comes to taking my shirt off in a changing room or at the beach. I don't think it is fatty 'man-boobs' as such. I'm pretty fit, and my other nipple is as it should be.
After so long of not knowing what it was, I've finally decided to do some research on it and have been very relieved to see that it is not a rare thing, thanks to this website.
However, my main question was: will this finally go away? Once I have finished puberty? Soon? Later? Never?
Also, is there anything I need to do about this. Are there exercises I should be doing? I do occasional chest exercises but it seems that these do not help particularly.
I would really like to avoid anything along the lines of plastic surgery. I am reluctant yo use pills but would use them if there is no other option. But it's not really something I want to say to my parents. Merely because our relationship is not particularly open, and I just feel it would be embarrassing.

If you have had this condition for three years with any change, then it is doubtful that it will disappear spontaneously.  You can always wait and see.  In the meantime, you can improve your contour by wearing a firm compression shirt.

If and when you decide that it will not disappear, then recommend you consult with a gyne specialist in your area.
