52 year old had surgery three days ago....FINALLY!!!!!!

I've wanted to do this all my life and things finally lined up to git 'er done.
My surgeon was Dr. Reath (Knoxville, tennessee). So far so good.
I'm pretty bruised but overall things are going well.
I see the doc for first followup monday.

Congratulations. Good to hear results are positive so far. I am 42 and finally taking this step. I'm a little nervous about how this will go, considering my age.  So I'm interested in how surgery has gone for others whose skin is not as elastic as it once was!

I am equally concerned about having this done at 41.  Skin elasticity has been a concern of mine as well.

Congrats Rev now don't look back! I'm 52 in August and it's the best thing I've ever done for ME! I always put the family first and finally had a little money to get this taken care of.

For those wondering about the elasticity, obviously our skin isn't as elastic as it once was, but knowing that it's 100 times better than the alternative...which we all suffered as teenagers and almost all of our adult lives.

My advice, is like Nike's...just do it. You won't regret it.
