Areola reduction after surgery

Hi, having finally decided to bite the bullet and go for surgery I was wondering if you guys that have had succesfull ops noticed a major reduction in areola size after the swelling had subsided?, my gyno is about 3/10 but I do have large areolas, my assesment is that I have a fair bit of gland compared to fat. As an aside are there any others on the boards that feel their gyno may have been the result of perscription drugs?, I was on a proton pump inhibitor (zoton) for 8 years whilst going through puberty to treat acid reflux, I since read this type of drug has been known to cause gyno.
