Hey buddy,

Is that photo taken when you're tensing or is that fold on the right of your chest there all the time?
I think I agree that you probably could lose a little bit of weight too...

Overall I'd say it's an improvement from your previous pics mate. If you're thinking about a 2nd surgery go and see Karadis and get his opinions. He was actually honest enough to tell me that I didn't really need an op, so I think he's tell you realistically if he thinks he can help you. I guess it depends if you have gland left etc. It will only cost you £80 (charity donation) so you can feel good about yourself too lol

Good luck mate

My parents seemed to think someone like Karidis would just do the op regardless of whether or not you really needed it for the money! So hearing something like that's reassuring. I can't remember If I was tensing or not haha, dont think I was. I emailed karidis's receptionist and she said she though I should book an appointment for Sept time and have the op Nov/Dec if I was going to go for it.. So we'll see, depends on money etc which is the big one.

Well I've figured out a way of raising the money for surgery now with Karidis, so I think I'm going to book a consultation soon and go from there. I'm currently 6 months post op and I think Karidis think it's best to wait 11-12 months before having another surgery, but I guess I'll have to wait until the consultation and discuss is properly with him there!

I think it's clear you'd benefit from some more surgery if you can afford it, but there is definitely improvement.

Hi,

My 2 peneth seeing as you asked...

Definite improvement from the pre-op.  But I can definitely see why you're not 100% happy, even despite the improvement.  I have not had surgery yet, but I have lost a substantial amount of weight (~18st > 12 1/2st) and I was able to see what a difference to my chest the weight loss made, even with the gyno issue.  In light of this, I think you owe it to yourself and possibly more importantly in this case to your wallet to get down to a good bodyfat level before deciding that further surgery is required.  You're going to need to wait for the surgery you've already had to heal fully and so during this time you could be getting down to a lower body fat.  If you then still have unsatisfactory results then go ahead with the second surgery.

On the flip side, I know that you've been putting up with this for a long time and you thought you'd got rid of it so appreciate that you're fed up now.
 :)

Yeah I'm planning to continue lowering my BF%, and see how I go.. but I don't really think it'll help my chest much as there isn't a great deal of fat on it anyway.

Well I'm booked in for my consultation next Wednesday with the 'gynecomastia king' as his receptionist referred to him!  ;D So we'll have to see what the man himself thinks!

Hi,  as I said on your other thread I don't think your chest is big or that you really have a moob problem anymore..... it is difficult to explain but your areolas do look a bit odd..........I guess there is a bit of creasing or tethering or something??

It will be interesting to see what Karidis has to say, because I am not sure how easy it is to fix this type of problem.

My chest sticks out abnormally.. There's no doubt about it, the pictures illustrate it clearly. Yes I have creasing also from where the last surgeons done a crap job. I can feel gland still behind my chest.. so there's not really any doubt about it to be honest. I'm unhappy with how my chest is at the moment, so let's hope Karidis can provide a solution.  :)

Fair enough, pictures don't always highlight the  issue properly anyhow.

I do not mean to sound  negative because Karidis probably can improve the situation............ but a 100% perfect result might be difficult now due to the previous surgery and scar tissue etc etc.

He should be able to give you a good idea of what is possible during the consult anyhow.

There's no such thing as a 100% perfect result, that would be the absence of gyno completely. Only a very close imitation of this can be achieved, as having surgery to get to that state is always going to leave some differences compared to a naturally occurring state, however with a good surgeon, these differences can be kept minimal! I will speak to Karidis and ask him if he thinks he can give me a good result and how confident he would be in doing so. I appreciate having this as the second op means there's a chance the final result won't be "as good" as what may have been had I had it with him first time, however it's too late to dwell on something like that now! I know there's lots of room for improvement, and I know Karidis is THE best person for it. So roll on wednesday!

I think karidis will be able to improve it to a certain extent. Im very pro karidis and i think hes a top surgeon but i still think your overall look is ruined by your aerola's and not by the protruding chest and im not sure how he will treat it. And i know revision surgeys with him will be out of the question at 2k a pop. If i was in your position now id definatley go to karidis and see what he thinks but id also give serious consideration to seeing Levick because of his revision experience and the freedom of going back for more surgerys for free

As for the creasing of the nipples etc, the only way to treat it would be with fat injections like Bermant etc do. But ive also read in the past about Levick doing this. Have a quick look through the revision part of the board theres loads of similar cases like yours

Just dont do anything rash on the day because they will try to make it sound like your getting a better deal if you pay on the day, you dont. See a few other surgeons and make your choice dont be smooth talked into making a decision

Personally i'm more confident in Karidis but will see what he says on the day. But from reading on other peoples experience, pretty everyone who goes with karidis is very happy, and for the few that arn't totally satisfied, it's usually a very small problem / them expecting a totally perfect result! Levick seems to have many unsatisfied patients.. it's all good and well he offers free revision, but mainly down to the fact that you're almost going to need it if you go to him, going by other peoples experiences!

Out of the two Karidis was the one for me, it would have been way easier to have gone to Levick and cheaper but karidis was the one for me. But surgeons perfect it from practise and karidis just doesnt do many revision surgeys so im n0ot sure what hes actually going to peform as for levick will have done loads. I think if karidis offered free revisions youd get the same volume as levick going through the doors.

If Karidis reckons he can fix it id say 100% go with him in my eyes hes the bollocks. But id also want to know what realistically what results to expect cause he will say "i will make you pancake flat" and im really not sure thats going to be sufficent id ask what the aereola's will be left looking like. Good look at the consultation its a weird experience going in but a good one hopefully he will be able to sort you out!

Yeah just have to wait and see! I'll be sure to ask all this. You have to bare in mind he doesn't just do gyno ops and will no doubt have worked with scar tissue + aerola work from other procedures, so I'm sure he knows what hes doing but yeah, time will tell!
