Hey,

Ive had Gynecomastia for a while and know pretty much everything about it. I'm trying to go about getting an appointment with the University Medical Practise in the area to try and see if i can get the surgery done asap.

I'm living in the Birmingham area, and if anyone knows how long it takes from the beginning to actually getting surgery done and the procedures involved it would be great.

Thanks for your help.

I got it done on the NHS in Birmingham. I think I have a record on this board for the time taken to get free treatment. It was three months GP to Op table. I got it done at Heartlands by Mr Potter, he also works in Solihull.  He cut a small hole below the nipple but I was asleep at the time so not sure what else went on. I would recomend him.

There are two ways to approach you appointment:

I not sure what it is but I have a lump, might be cancer and-  etc-

or

I want this operation with Mr Potter someone I know got it done in 3 months etc.

Not sure which is best.
