Im due to have the op on Wednesday...its just dawned on me that I havnt booked a hotel!

Can yu guys please give me the details of the hotels closest/cheapest to the priory....Im not btohered about mod/cons, as long as it is cheap and cheerful, I'll only be staying a few nights at most....

Phones numbers and brief details would be most appreciated.

Im beginning to feel a bit anxious now.....

I can't help you with the hotels directly but there was a post about that a while back if i remember correctly.

Try to relax dude! Anxiety came and went in the few days beofre my op. I found keeping myself busy to be a good way of keeping my mind off the op.  :) :) :) :)

Beechwood Hotel
201 Bristol Road, Edgbaston, Birmingham, West Midlands, B5 7UB
Tel: +44 (0)121 440 2133

Thats where i stayed the night before the Op, its about a 3 minute walk from the priory and is £39 a night.  Clean enough place but no sky TV which didnt bother me as i was only in the place for 12 hours.  If staying a few nights its ok if your not fussy about Sky, but in my opinion with nothing else to do Sky tv is a must.

Try a google search on bed and breakfast hagley road, there is a load on that street and is quite close to priory.

I think you will be looking at £40 a night at most places though.
