My job is seasonal so I don't have to return until Feb, or I could just get another job before then. Glad your doing alright as well mate, can't wait to get back running and lifting weights. It's doing my head in just sitting around all day haha.

Hi Donut. Yeah will try to upload pics Tuesday/Wednesday. Think I'll switch to compression vest on Tues, the binder is really irritating my skin and I haven't showered for almost a week now so I'm not smelling too good lol.

Well guys it's almost a week now since I had my surgery, I can't believe how quickly the week has gone!
I'm planning on changing the binder garment for the Macom compression vest tomorrow and I can't wait to have a shower and get cleaned up a bit!
I've had a sneaky look at my chest and I have to say at this moment in time I have virtually no bruising... I'm not sure if this comes a bit later?
Also I have some indentations and creasing which I'm sure is from the stitching in the binder, so I'm hopeful this will sort itself when I change vests!
I've been off the painkillers since yesterday and have to say I've had next to no pain, just slight sensations, almost like very light nettle stings!
Dark M.... How are you doing? Hope all is going well?
Donut.... Can I just say well done with the saving.... Hopefully 2014 will be the year for you! :)
All in all I have no regrets at all.... Time will tell and hopefully I will get the final results I am looking for!!

Glad to hear you're doing ok my friend! I have some slight yellowish bruising at the top of my chest where the vest doesn't cover it, but apart from that all is well. Don't worry about the indentation,  the binder has done the same to me! I'm swapping to my other vest today, just about to have a bath. Will take some pics and upload!

Pleased to hear you are doing ok DarkM....  Doesn't feel like almost a week ago does it!!
Do you know..... Is it ok to get the incisions wet now?
I'm looking forward to changing my vest tomorrow and having a bath :)

I've just been in the bath fully submerged with no trouble. It's a bit strange really, couldn't wait to just have 10 minutes without the vest on but i felt really glad when i but my compression vest on haha. Trying to upload pics to no avail, file size has to be 125kb so i've scaled them down to below that but apparently they are still too big. Wtf?

Hi Guys.... 1 week today since i had my surgery!!
Today i have changed the Binder garment for the Macom compression vest.... Quiet a relief... The Macom vest is much more comfortable and i have much better movement! The only downside to this is within about 4 hours of changing,my chest is really swollen.... Im wondering if i may have to put the dreaded binder back on over the top of the compression vest for a while longer? (Any advice would be appreciated).
Today was the first time i was able to have a good look at my chest since i had the surgery and all in all i am fairly happy! I have deep indentations running across both nipples due to the binder but im hoping with time this will sort itself out!
I have next to No bruising at present but again this could come out later!
DarkM... Did you find the same regarding swelling when you changed garments?
Hope you are doing ok my friend and all is going well?
I will try and add a few pictures!

That looks like it was TIGHT! - but I suppose that is the point!!

...also certainly looks like Mr Levick didn't leave anything behind - sure that'll all flatten out nicely over next few weeks

Hi Donut, certainly was tight!
I think the frustrating thing for me is that the indentations are nothing to do with the surgery.... They are solely down to the Binder! I'm just hoping with a bit of time it will all bounce back!
I had a fairly bad case! I have to say apart from the indentations i am actually really happy even after just 1 week!
The binder was obviously doing a good job in other ways because since changing to the compression vest my swelling has rocketed .... And my chest feels fairly numb because if it!
Still.... Very early days I know, so I will try not to get too hung up about the indentations and give it time!
Good to hear the saving is going well.... :)
