Wow thats a great result. Its clear your life will now be changed a hell of a lot for the better. Well done, and top job from Karadis.

I think most people just ask the surgeon post op how much was gland and fat. Maybe send a quick email and ask.

I didnt see Kardis after the OP, felt that was strange...did others meet him?

His nurse came in (Beth) but she practically came in 10secs (literally) when i got wheeled back into my room and i was all groggy and half asleep, I just sent her a quick email to find out.

I think it quite a bit of gland.

yes very well chuffed, I am 26 and i wish i done this at 20. missed out on all those boys holidays.

I would say to anyone reading this forum, and debating it, to just go do it, it's painless and to be very honest i am going back to work tomorrow (2nd day post op) i work behind a desk though. but I took the train yesterday after my op as their was no minicabs and done a 20mins walk from the station.

What an amazing result, you had a proper set of bangers before Karidis did his job, you are going to be elated in a few months once it's all calmed down and its healed.
I would pull a sickie tomorrow if i was you and go back in on Monday. I work for myself, from home and i took a week off to just let everything heal and not cause unnecessary swelling. Up to you though

Yeh they were bigger than the missus ;)

So here are day 3 Post OP pics.

not much pain, not had any pain killers and suprisingly enough, I've hardly had any oozing of bloody from the incisions, i did notice though, that my right breast incision is much bigger than my left, could this be due to my right breast having more gland than my left?

not any difference yet, flat as a pancake....still a long road ahead.

Hi Guys,

5 days post-op today. Pics below. WHat do you think>

Bruising has done down slightly from day 3. The pain/discomformt has also gone, only hurts if someone presses my chest, still obviously sensitive. The incisions under the armpit are so small, nearly closed-up. I've still got the plasters on their but will remove 7 days post-op.

The plasters covering the nipple incision I have not seen since day 1 as I've had no need to take them off. I do remember my right nipple having a bigger incision than my left, so very curious to see how that is fixing-up.

I am not expecting miracles, as you can see my gland was quite bad, so just having a flat chest is great, so am ready for the up/down in the road ahead.

Not sure if it helps people, but it's a family gospel that honey cures scars/illnesses, and I have been taking about 2 teaspoons of Pure Gold Manuca honey every night and i think it has helped, as you can see from my pre-op my condiition was quite bad, but i've had hardly any major bruising and hardly any of the blood oozing. not sure if this is down to the honey, but i feel it has helped.

See you guys on Friday for 10 days post-op pics and update. I hope to remove the plasters then.

If anyone has any quesitons feel free to ask or PM me.

Tell us all about the surgery specifics, was there excess skin to be removed during the op or was the dr confident it wouldn't be excessive and would shrink back and not be an issue?
With regards to the nipple were they resized too or have they been left as is? Did u find out the quantities removed of fat and gland.
Wat was the total cost and is this looking to be a life changing decision you've made?

Yeh, no problems mate, I work as a contractor in my own office in a business centre, 15mins walk from the house, found it ok, I have realised though, the increased bruising/swollen chest expected at 3/4 days, I am getting at 7/8 days, I am 8 days post-op and the first week was fine, my chest as you can see looked pretty decent, but since 7th day, it's been very sensitive to touch and i got some red bruising yesterday under my left nipple. I will post pics on Friday, which is 10days post op. I've got alot of scar tissue in my chest, if I had not read the many accounts on here i would be panicking thinking the gyne is returning as it gives that impresseion even though it's very small, but i understand with time this weill decrease.

This Vest is a pain in the arse, funny as many get used to it but I have not, and I actually used to wear similar compression vests before my OP when I used to play footy with friends.so i thought i would be ok, but their so annoying, maybe coz i have a big belly:-)

When did you start massaging? it's quite painful at the moment, i tried briefly in the shower, i guess at week 3?

Their was no excess skin to be removed and Kardiris was sure it would go back to normal. the nipple's were left as they are, they have actually gone smaller, as you can imagine when you have so much gland in your breast, your nipples get stretched especially in my case as it was fairly bad. you will see my nipples on friday when i post pics.

I dont know the quanties of fat and gland removed yet, i did email Beth but she has not come back to me. Total costs is around 4.2k including the blood test which i did there, yes 100% life changing,  I should have done it earlier, I had the money but was too scared, plus i was using compression vests and they were doing a decent job to cover the gyne, but i would never go topless on holiday or walk out the without the compression vest but it gets bloody hot wearing a vest and under a shirt and tie and sometimes a suit for meeting, after 1 more week of wearing the compression vest I hope not to wear one ever again.

Wow dude, massive change before and after, great results I have to say mate! I hope you are happy with in and all the best for the healing and enjoying moob free life like the rest of us :-)

I started massaging about 14 days post op I think, wasn't pleasant just because of the tenderness and numbness, just weird but its just part of my routine now, just give yourself and extra 10 mins every morning and night, you'll get used to it.

Again, all the best!

Youd be better off with bio oil for massaging, just makes it easier

I have bio oil also. I will use the two, I thought Arnica will help with the bruising. I've had some red bruising come-out over the past 3-4 days. I hope to post pics soon, bloody laptop has broken down, I am taking photos today (10 day post-op) will upload most likely on Monday now.

You can do but it will calm down of its own accord, just drink loads of pineapple juice and eat healthy thats the best thing you can do. Great result by the way!
