How Long?

I'm nearly 18 years old and had a good almost 3 hour conversation with my parents about having gynecomastia. They were very reluctant for me having surgery, but did agree on having an appointment with Dr. Teitelbaum. I was just wondering, how long does it take to get an appointment, and from then, how long does it take to get scheduled for the procedure? Just on average, or from anyone who's had experience with this surgeon personally.
Also, if anyone has anything to say about this doctor it would be greatly appreciated.
