How long..?

Can someone who's had the surgery in the States tell me how long it took after consultation to have the surgery? I know it depends on the doctor, but is it usually a couple of weeks, months, etc., after the consultation?

it ranges between days and months... depends on the time of year, the doctor's backlog... etc. etc. no one can tell you this except for the doctor you choose to go to.

at my consultation my doc said he could schedule me for next week...unfortunately i had to go back to school so i had to make it 4 months in advance

Some doctors charge a certain amount if you want to schedule your surgery for a specific date, or it usually takes week(s) to months to set it up.
