From watching his video and reading his website, he makes the recovery process for his procedure sound like it's much quicker and easier than with that of the traditional excision method.  Is this because there is significantly less external trauma associated with his method, or have his former patients found the recovery process to be pretty much in line with regular excision surgery?

Thanks.

Well, I have surgery scheduled for May 22nd, but based on my consultation the recovery time is the same.  He suggests wearing the compression garment for at least 2 weeks and no exercise for at least 2 weeks also.  You can shower the next day, and work a desk job within 2 days.  He also mentioned not to freak out about any scar tissue accumulation for at least 6 months.
