Post a link to the pics

I dont think he's on here much anymore, although I wish he were because he lives by me and I'd like to talk to him more.  You can search for a users posts though, so I found the pics.  I think he said the ones with tape on his chest were 6-7 days after the surgery and he was still swollen but not really bruised.

No, but I did consult with Dr Lee at Changes.  He uses ultrasound lipo technology by Vaser, and has not performed an excision surgeries in a long time because he is so confident in the technology.

I explained to him my concerns that the puffy syndrome would return and cited cases from here where patients had lipo only, and afterward had their nipples puff out again.  All the pictures of his patients he has are from lipo only surgeries and he says he is confident that he can achieve and have them maintain a flat result with only lipo.

He said you may still be able to feel some lumps of glandualar / breast tissue under the skin, but that the results of a flatter chest are permanent.

I am tempted to trust him on his word..... I mentioned your story about schafer and he said he has seen many many cases come to him after going to schafer where he has had to 'save them' so to speak.

Dr. Lee is a super cool guy, and he's a very good plastic surgeon.

His Vaser approach may work for gynecomastia, but what worries me is that he told me his technique will not remove the glands.  I saw some of his before and after photos, and you could still see quite a bit of gland in most of his patients.

And... the Vaser technique leaves FOUR scars BELOW your chest...

If you can hold off, I'll post before and after photos with Dr. Wallace by the end of September.  She performs lipo and excision through two small incisions on the sides of the areola, which hides the scars pretty well.

So who's the best surgeon in San Diego that can do lipo and remove the gland?  I've finally got insurance that I think will cover the procedure and I want to take care of this...

My pictures with Dr. Wallace...

Are you happy?  I know its been awhile, but what did you have done and how'd it turn out long term.

Still considering Dr Lee at Changes.   I plan to go consult with him again soon.  Just cant seem to get a straight answer as to how effective lipo only will be for the puffy nipple syndrome.  EVen if the gland remains it'll look okay as long as the nipples are flat like when they're stimulated.

Have a consultation set with Dr Wallace in about 3 weeks. Not sure if I want to risk the scars and go with an excision surgery, or if an ultrasonic lipo only approach like Dr Lee recommended would give me good results..??..

Here's a pic of my ugly chest.

Hello all. New member.

I've been looking at this forum for a little bit and being from the Socal area I'm interested in going with Dr. Wallace. I've looked at removethese pics, and it's a great job, but you didnt have the puffy nips, so i'm wondering if Dr. Wallace will be the good choice for excision.

As for the picture above, i'm close to that, but my nips are a bit bigger =\

Around $5,000.

Go in for a consultation.  You'll be impressed.  The lady has an amazing personality, and you get a great vibe from her.

Her breast knowledge is second-to-none in my opinion ... she's been working on breast-related problems for 19 years I think.  UCSD is world-renowned for its medical facilities, reasearch, and doctors; you'll see that she fits right in.

Good luck guys.

By the way, she's booked.  She works as both a general and plastic surgeon, so her workload is bigger than most.  I'm still waiting to be scheduled.

One thing I'm wondering too is if she's getting more biz from these boards if the price is going up.  I was quoted $5K for UCSD fee + $1280 Anesthesia + $1400 Facility...that's over $7500!

I find it interesting that contempt stated for surgeons that are in private practice. Another way to look at it, is that they have to keep the customers happy or they are out of business, unlike the people that work for companies. The distrust of profit in a capitalist society is curious. There are good surgeons everywhere. I do find it curious that since cost is such an issue that no one has checked out Dr.Dr.Jaime Caloca Jr. just across the border from SD. He has done a lot of military cases.

This thread is hard to follow. Are we saying here that Dr Wallace is GOOD and someone named Dr. Joy in long beach is good also? who is Dr. Joy?

I have a consult with Wallace in MArch and Cruise next week (NEwport Beach) which is $75 for the consult. he has a compelling video on the web so I am interested.

I also want to see Vishal Kapoor.

I am also considering travleing to Michael Bermant, MD based on his postings here.
