Surgeon in the Boston area

I read about Dr. Richard Bartlett. Location would be convenient for me. Sounds pricier than others. I called his office. It's 125 for the consultation. I may consider this.

What bothers me however, is that he obviously only does this under general anesthesia. Can anybody confirm this? General anesthesia is out of the question for me. I personally don't think it's necessary.

And on more general terms:

1. Does any surgeon remove gland tissue through incisions in the armpit? Or only liposuction?
2. How "functional" are the nipples after the "normal" surgery approach? I don't mean how numb or so, but is there any risk that they don't shrink/become hard anymore?
