I don't have many posts but I've read a lot of info about gynecomastia and I know I have it even though I work out very frequently.

That said, I live in Virginia Beach, and there are dozens of plastic surgery clinics within say a 30 mile radius.

How do you guys determine whom to go to?

I don't want to skim on costs, but I don't think I need to go to someone that's like charging $6000 when someone else can do it for half or $4000 or something.  Can you get cost estimates up front?  How can I do a good comparison without going to like a dozen doctors for an appointment?

I'd recommend Dr. Richard Mladick at the Mladick Center.  He did my operation two years ago and I'm really pleased with the results.  On one of my follow-up visits he told me that he'd written a medical textbook on gynocomastia.

I guess I'll try to schedule a consultation there and see what they're saying.

I may try Bermant in Chester, VA also.




Anyone else have suggestions?
