had first kenalog injection today

I had my first kenalog injection, today for scar tissue buildup. No pain at all. Still feel fluid in my chest. Definitely have high hopes for good results. Will keep everyone posted.

4 days since kenalog injection. No noticeable improvement yet, but I was not expecting any at this time. Most people on this board seem to say results start to show 7-10 days after injection. I am also massaging my chest regularly, I do not know if this is helping or not.

The changes usually start at about 4-7 days after injection and continue for about 6 weeks.  After 8 weeks, no further improvement can be anticipated and if needed, additional injections can be done.

Things are definitely getting softer in my chest.It looks like I have a slight reduction in size, but maybe not, can't really tell. I'm only at the 6 day mark. Scar tissue feels very malleable.

Waking up in the middle of night, looking in the mirror just to see if my chest got smaller...story of my life.

Ha, it's a common tale my friend. My doctor told me not to even look at my chest for 3 weeks to a month after receiving the kenalog injections. Think of the next three weeks as a free vacation from worrying about your chest.  Trust me, u deserve some time off!

I definitely noticed a reduction in size today. I'm certain now that I am not dealing with residual gland, this is scar tissue.

Almost two weeks since injection, and I must say things are looking good. I definitely notice an improvement. Can't wait to see the final results in a couple of weeks!

It's been 10 months since the surgery and about a couple months since injection and I am happy with results. I am not completely flat, but it now looks more like pec muscle than flabbiness. There is still scar tissue, and I may decide to go for another injection at some point.

 It has been a long journey, but would recommend this surgery to anyone with gynecomastia. And post surgery if there is scar tissue to go for the kenalog injection!
