Wow...It took about a minute to convince my mom.  I just scheduled my consultation with Dr. Metzner but the soonest is fucking Wednesday, May 25 D:

Oh well, I can be patient with fat breasts for two to three more months of my life.  Until then I'll have to use a chest vest.  Just the thought of losing my breasts is so overwhelming...it makes me so happy.  I just wish it could all be done sooner.  I'll keep you guys updated.  I really appreciate the support this board has given me, and I'm so lucky I decided to join the gym again and stumble upon this site while looking up exercises.

I just hope everything can go well and I can get this taken care of as soon and easily as possible.

Btw, about how long have any of you had to wait for your first consultation?  And then how long after the consultation should I expect to wait for surgery?

I think a lot of times parents notice the situation, but don't want to bring it up because they're afraid to embarass you.  So then when you finally mention it they've already been thinking about it.

With Dr. Bermant I did my remote consultation within about 1 week, which was just the time it took for me to pay for the remote consultation.  After that I scheduled a surgery for 3-4 weeks later.

What's a remote consultation?  Do you think I could go about doing that in order to speed up the process?

I'm kinda pissed that he's this busy when I read guys on these boards having it all taken care of in under a month D:

It's what Dr. Bermant does for out-of-state patients since he's in Virginia

I called today to see if going to his other office in New Orleans would give me a sooner consultation date.  Luckily, the receptionist told me they had an opening on May 4 at 11am at the office a few miles from my house so that cuts my wait time down by three weeks :D

I just got my compression shirt in from UnderWorks.com

It's a Large style 997, and was $30 + $10 (2nd day shipping).  It's pretty tight but I guess that's the point.  If it really bothers me I'll order the X-Large and see how that works and return whichever I don't like.

Here are the pics I just took of me wearing it without a shirt:

Here's some pics of me wearing it with a shirt (one that I've never been able to wear because of my boobs):

So far I highly recommend it.  I'll let yall know what it's like to wear all day.

Awesome man, that vest is a lifesaver.  I wish I had invested in one before my surgery.  Hopefully it doesn't stretch out too much...I know that mine was kinda stretching out during my post-op.

Heh, I wouldn't mind it stretching out just a tad.  Or instead, I'd rather me just lose a few pounds.  I'm workin' on it :D  Off to the gym.

BTW does anybody know how I can go about washing this thing?  I may want to get another one to wear while my other one is in the laundry, but I just need to know how to go about washing them.  Thanks.

It should have instructions on the tag, no?  Mine was supposed to be handwashed.  So fill up the sink with some soapy water, give it a good scrub and leave it for awhile.

This thing is so tight I don't know how often I want to wear it.  I fell asleep at my girlfriends house with it on and her laying against me...I woke up and it didn't feel very good having that tight thing squeeze me for so long while I was asleep.  Maybe next time I'll take it off.

Anyway, if you're looking to get one of these, just know that it's pretty tight, but thats why it does its job.
