I don't see my doctor until Thursday, so I was hoping I could get an assessment here before then.

I am about 48 hours post op. I could take off my vest for the first time to take a shower this morning. Everything looked fine, except my left areola. There is a pretty big crease in it.



Did my guy mess up or is this normal so soon after the operation?  :-\

There are a few reasons for this -- prior large puffy nipples, lax skin, too much gland excision, etc -- but you would best be served by waiting it out for several months before jumping to conclusions.  It might just go away by itself during the healing process.
