Thanks for the info your prob right. I just don't want her to think any different of me, like masculine if you know what i mean. Anyhow, its been confirmed I e-mailed some pics to the surgeon and he stated it definitely looks like gyno. I already knew but doesn't make it easier I guess. I am looking forward to the surgery it is four months off yet.

On a side note the doctor states he performs gyno 3-4 times a month and has been doing it for ten years. 3-4 a month seems low to me or is that normal?

Take Care Guys.

Now, I never said you had to tell her the truth.  You could fake something like a ripped pec, or say you had a cyst.  That is my pocket excuse if anyone figures me out.  I doesn't sound as mad as saying you had titties removed.  But anyone can get a cyst.

I think that sounds like plent.  Most of the docs either do it or don't. As long as he can show ou some b4 and after pics that you like, go for it.  Spend a long time looking at the pics, then look at other pics and look at those again if possible.  The reason why I say that is that you will notice a lot of sites where the pics the PSshow have wierd angles or they only show one angle.  Like right now, if nothing gets better (which it will I hope) my right side is picture perfect. Anyone who sees a b4 and after of my right would think my doctor is great.  My left has some improving to do for me to be happy.  Some docs will trick you with on certain pics of certain clients.  Also, I don't know how to find it, but Dr Berman had some pics and maybe even videos of some bad surgeries he corrected.  I saw it on one of these threads.  Anyway,  it showed me some f ups doctors did that I began noticing in pics that I would not have noticed b4.  I think we usually flip through them so fast, we just say "boy that guy was flat". But there are more things that could make a job not look so hot. Like wierd, shrivled nipples, or a scar that extends beyond the areola.  An experienced PS should be able to tell you what he/she does to prevent those things.  I may not work, but you want to know that the PS has enough experience to be ready.  Like my PS told me that he leave a small amount of thickness behind the nip, so they won't invert.  I was comfortable with that as apposed to a PS saying "I hope that doesn't happen"

Those are all VERY good suggestions; this board and users are great on here. I think the cyst thing is a good idea. Just have to play it off on both nips! Better then saying hey babe i gotta get these bitch breasts removed lol.

Good idea about before and after pics, my PC states that he is a "specialist" in the field of gyno. Do most PC stated they are or do they have to perform a certain number of surgeries to claim to be a specialist??

Best Regards

  • Why wait any longer?
Get the surgery.  Life is too short to have to walk around always hiding it or covering it up.  Your case looks similar to mine and I waited too long 32 years old to get mine done.  Like you, I thought about it for 10 years.

I am now 1 day post op so we will see how it turns out, but I am very positive, optimisitic and hopeful for a good result.

The pschological damage this causes us is a shame and surgery seems to be the only thing proven to fix it these days.

I think a lot of doctors will say weather or not they do it, but that ight be wishfull thinking.  I usually look at there web site. If it is not posted on their website as a precedure, then I assume the don't do it.  Not just "male liposuction" be the full "g" word is what I look for.

Another quick question, my insurance says sometimes we will cover it and sometimes we wont. The insurance Representative said, well it depends on what code the doctor gives us after your consultation. Any idea what this could mean? I have heard some instances that they will cover the excision and not lipo. I have medical mutual if that helps. Thanks again guys.

I don't believe that is right, if you have cancer not matter how bad it is you have it. I know gyne is not in that same category but it is still a condition. I dont see how insurance companies can determine that, I mean where do they draw the line? Just because his "looks bad". I am a skinny guy so any amount of gyne is very noticeable, it wouldn't be that bad if the rest of me had an equal amount of fat I guess. Even if they deny it I will send them an appeal that will make their eyes hurt.
