PS says I only need lipo to get rid of my gyno...

I had an appointment with a PS and she said that my case was minor and that lipo alone would remove the tissue.  From what I've been reading on the net it seems like a better idea to do lipo and incision but I wanted to know what your thoughts are.

Here are some pics.  I am a little out of shape right now and my bf% is around 18% I'd guess.  The gyno seems to go down a bit when I'm actually in shape at 10% but there is still a noticeable bump.

The funny thing is she said that lipo alone would remove the gland as it's not that bad.

I've made an appointment with another specialist to see what's up.  I'd like to get it done while I'm overseas(for another 3 weeks) because it's half the price but I may just wait til i get back and see Dr. Fielding in Toronto.

a number of people have been pretty dissatisfied with lipo only, i think a lot of surgeons get overconfident in their toys.  in your shoes i'd write in a clause saying if you were dissatisfied with the results in 6-12 months she'd agree to redo for completely free.  that might make her take it seriously enough.  and no slight, some women have done fine, but some guys have felt female ps's didn't take results adequately seriously.  definitely get the second and even third opinion.
