68J Armament Systems Technician AH1 Cobra.   We also could do the Armament on the Huey and X1 asi was for AH64  Apache. But I never got that.  Went to school at Ft Eustis, VA.

No Army schools for me, everything from the Navy transfered over. I was a metal head there too but much more involved, including heavy metal, welding, gas welding, heavy sheet metal work and my Rating (MOS) also crossed over to "damage control"! In 1972 or about that year it was separate jobs combined into one, then sometime after I got out it was separated again.

Damage Control included NBC warfar, which is now BNICE! That all changed and I had to learn it all over when I was involved in emergency management with the Sheriff's office.

I also was one of the ships divers. So I was a very busy man when we were deployed, but that made the time go by much faster!

I don't have the military background.  My back was ruined at 15 and I was a 4F.  By the time I started chronic pain I had at least C cups for 3+ years at that time.  I agree with these guys on attitude though. "And as he says, "adapt and overcome"!" There is no way I'm going to let a bully determine what I can do in my life. I did Broadway song and dance type things in musicals in school and sang first tenor despite have the biggest breasts on guys in the schools I was at, all of them.  I gave presentations at group medical conferences and so on.  I admit to wearing custom or semi-custom 3 piece suits and the vest made the jacket lie better from the breasts, but my sizing was weird anyway. I don't just take off my shirt, I'm a nudist.  At a nudist club you would find out that many if not most of the guys have it to some degree.
