Rcoggy23: I know what you mean by being limited socially and such. I used to feel I could not join in regular company because my breasts would enter a room before I would. It was only in my mind since a 44A/B (more B than A and growing)is not that large at all.

As to social events, never once has anyone ever made a comment about my breasts. Why? Because they really do not accept that men have breasts that sometimes get large. They are expecting to see women with breasts and as such do not actually see the breasts on a man...usually, unless we are really noticeable. My boss knows about the "guests/ girls" with no problem, my brother knows about them with no problem, my sister does not know and I am not telling her since mine are bigger than hers (she lives out of state).

Not one of the women at work has anything but helpful comments about my "assets" since they grew up with them and I am just starting to have to "support" the "guests/ girls". Bra comments and advice have been freely given to me, discretely of course. I sit down and talk to the guys about hunting, fishing, cars, boilers and sundry and I can talk to the ladies at work about bras. Weird but true.

The women are supportive because they understand the need and respect someone who is man enough to face up to certain facts. You have breasts, so support them. Live life and do not let your extra "assets" lead you around, they are yours and must not be allowed to stop the "life" in your life. Life is good, enjoy it.

Hammer,
You are a very inspiring individual. Thanks for your postings on this forum. I have always felt limited with my moobs both physically and socially. I am so happy to have found this platform to open up about gyne. Keep up the good fight Hammer, you are among family.

Happy that I can share my experiences, and be of help!

Thanks! It is a great feeling! Being I'm still unable to go very far (still recovering) my daughter said the delivery was so easy and her husband has 11 days vacation they will come up this weekend if I felt up to it! I do, my grandson is a blast to be around we just got to keep the floor clear of toys when I have to get up, and I can't wait to see that little girl!

The kids live about a 1 1/2 hours away (near Rochester Mayo Clinic area) and they are the closest of all our kids! You never figure that your family will end up so far away!

Grandkids are just about one of the few things that make growing old fun! The other would be having everything paid off and having no bills anymore!

Expedient Traveler, That is great to hear that you have lady friends who know about your girls and support you supporting them.

I have a similar support system at work where the ladies know about my "girls" or as one of the ladies call them, "puppies". I work at a hospital with mostly females and of course,  they all wear bras, duh! They all know that I have breasts and wear a bra. There are a couple of them that are also well endowed in the same size range as me. They aren't afraid to ask what bras I wear, what works and what doesn't work. I know that it's strange but true. They understand and include me.

My oldest daughter is one of the closest to the same size I am! She's the one that just had the second child, and has told me the most comfortable bra she has ever had is her nursing bra! I told her that I'll be damned before I start wearing nursing bras!

My wife and other daughter are much smaller then me and my older daughter and admit that they don't have any idea what's it like to be as big as we are

I don't know if you have looked at my pictures but you can see them in two places. In stories (my story after all these years) in the first part and also in acceptance in "I'm much bigger then I thought" in the new bra I bought after my formal fitting. I'm big enough that I can hold one breast with both hands and still have breast sticking out! I've been debating having Debbie take some more pictures, but then they are big enough to hurt the camera, lol!

Hi A boywithgirls,

While I don't feel a need to wear a bra,  I'm right at home with the nudist ladies and get invited to compare under the breast tan lines with them that vertical nudists get by not laying out in the sun.

Now there is a switch. The ladies asking bra advice from a man. That just goes to show how real things are. We all live in the same situation. Our "assets" are no different than those of a woman.

I think the best part of all of.this is, is that others are beginning to accept us at face value.  Meaning, we are men with breasts who have made the choice to live with our breasts. Part of that choice is wearing a bra for most of us. It's good to see that others have had similar positive experiences while searching for a bra that fits.

My fellow grandfathers and fathers will understand the thoughts and feelings that I had on Saturday. For you younger gentleman one day I pray that you will have it and remember that Bob (Hammer) and other older people during your life told you that there will come a day that other things in your life will come so much more important to you and the value of that they will over shadow more then anything else that you can ever  imagine at this point in your life!

Saturday my daughter and son in law came to visit with their new second child, their 5 day old daughter, our 4th grandchild and 1st granddaughter! Who says that God still doesn't create miracles of such deep  beauty!

As I held this small little gift from God, knowing how dependent she is on her mom and dad or us if God for bid sometime should happen to them I thanked Him for her life, and prayed for her to have great health and a good life!

As I was doing that she must have been hungry and felt grandpas big boobs and was trying to eat! Her mom and grandpa are about the same size! I guess it was good for a good laugh, grandpa is "almost good for something"!

Gentleman, yesterday I took the longest walk that I've taken in a long time, maybe in years!

I had an appointment with my primary care doctor at the Minneapolis VA hospital to check out the return of my butt rash and prior to going I told Debbie that I didn't want to use the wheelchair, that I wanted to use the walker and try to walk to distance! We could always grab a wheelchair in the building if need be, they are all over the building if it didn't work out.

My biggest fear was getting cramps in my feet, as that was a problem in the past caused by the neuropathy or cramps in the legs being I haven't walked far in years.

I made it to the clinic with no problem, and my doc was very pleased, but warned me never to be out walking without the walker in fear of falling and really doing damage to an already messed up back! I of course have no plans to do that. I also walked back to the car no problem.

The distance was from the 2nd floor of the parking ramp to the clinc on the first floor of the hospital which is near the front of the hospital.

To give you an idea of the distance, it would be like parking as far away from the front of the entry of a Walmart entry and walking all the way to the back of the store!

My night went on just fine, no cramps, no extra pain, but I had an extra brandy that might have helped and I had a good nights sleep! So I believe the wheelchair is coming out of the truck and the walker will go in when we go places!  I also am going to try out going on some walks now!

This last back surgery has been a very good thing as that may have help stop the cramps that I've been having all these years not to mention the terrible pain going down my left leg! However, it didn't do anything for the pain in the ass! The pain caused by the SI joint that I had the nerves burnt are just starting to have some feelings again!

You know what! I'm happy with what I got! I'm going to take advantage of the walking as long as I can and also try to use that to lose some weight as well, being able to do the walking should help that!

If healing continues to go as it has been ill be very pleased and be able to enjoy life with less pain, but I'll be doing it very carefully not to mess up my back any more! So don't ask me to help you move!

God bless
Bob

Glad to hear you are able to walk more.  That says a lot.  Be in good health Bob.

I had a dermatology appointment today at the VA to have a couple rashes checked out. I had 3 female doctors looking over these rashes, on my arms and on my butt. The thing I think that they were most interested in was my gynecomastia!

As I took my shirt off I warned them of the size of my breast so that they wouldn't go in shock! After that they were very curious as to why I had such a "bad" case of gyne, so I gave them the "readers digest"  Version of how I lost my  testicles. I do believe I had there devoted attention for a little while.

I did get some good answers for my rashes, and Debbie and I had a good laugh too!

I had my 3 month post surgery check up today on that 3rd back surgery that I had on March 9th. Had xray's first then saw the surgeon, and all the screws and rods are still where they belong, and the pain that I have is to be expected, given that this was the third surgery in the same general area fusing stuff together!

I was told the same advise I give a lot of you here, about being patient and letting the body heal, but I was told I still need to wait another 9 months to do that!

So Debbie and I were coming up with all kind of ideas of what I can do to stay busy for the next 9 months and no lifting more then 35lbs, at least for awhile as that's still the limit. Not much came to us except fishing! Good thing I like to fish!

I think it's going to be a long boring summer! 9 months seems forever looking at it from this side!

Bob
