* a man is more than a body will ever tell
* if it screws up your life the same, is there really any such thing as "mild" gyne?

Exit, that is an awful story. I can relate to the teasing as I was tormented until I was in my first year of high school. ( not for the same thing though..I didn't develop serious gyne until after high school. I can only imagine what THAT was like) Thanfully I had only a handful of tormentors, and when their ringleader (king of the dipsh*ts) moved, the others lost interest. I have only 2 questions..are you planning on having surgery? My other question is, how the hell did you not kill one of those jagoffs? I am not a violent by nature, but there comes a point where enough is enough. Most elementary school teachers could care less about bullying, and seem put off by the one getting bullied when he reports it. More than once I had reacted to this with violence. (of course, I got in trouble, and the bully got to play victim) Stories like yours really break my heart, especially when I think my children may someday go thru this. People really do suck. Hope things are better for you now, nobody deserves to be put thru that crap.

Seems like we all have memories that are kinda similar at times. Now I'm glad it's over. No more XL t shirts, crouching over, layers of shirts do i need to go on?? Had my surgery on July 20th and I haven't looked back. If your thinking about surgery or don't like what you see then do it. It's like a freedom that you never had before

my worst occured in 8th grade right after I had developed "puffy nipples".  I got invited to my best friends birthday party and we all went swimming. After swimming some of them went into the sauna and I couldn't think of an excuse fast enough so I had to go with them. The water in the pool was cold so my nipples looked normal but when we went into the sauna they puffed out and my best friend was like "what the f*ck!! you have pointy nipples HAHAHA  >:( And he made sure everyone else at the party heard about what weird nipples I had.

Having gynecomastia also destroyed my relationship with the one and only girl I have ever really loved. We had dated for once as sophmores in high school but it wasn't very serious. Then as juniors we became really good friends again and decided to date again. It became very serious but I was terrified to have sex with her because I didn't want to take my shirt off. I always was thinking of reasons not to have sex even though I really REALLY wanted to! Because of this she thought I was a big fat pussy who "wasn't ready" and it just killed me inside. it was a lose-lose situation. She eventually dumped me, and this was a major reason why. A later found out she was cheating on me with another "friend"  of mine since I was to afraid to have sex with her  :'( I fucking hate gyne, it ruined my teenage years. I finally got the surgery done, I"m 29 but its to late, that girl is gone forever along with all the great care free teen age years that I missed because of hiding my chest and worrying about my appearance.

Ive had the surgery done and Im 20. And for me it doesn't feel like I've been reborn, more like "it's one less problem to worry about".

Exit, your story reminds me so much of my youth, I can't tell you how similar it is.

Wow.

It's a pity that so many of us suffer with this condition, and the rest of the population finds it fun to pick.

Pick back.   Tell them that their hair is stringy, or that they have acne, or something else.  Stand up for yourselves!

Everyone has self confidence issues, and the fact that they pick on others is a sort of "coverup" for the fact that they they too have insecurities, like the cellulite on their thighs, or their small chest (if it's a girl) or their lack of muscles, poor posture, bad home life, or something else.

My best suggestion is to lose weight as much as possible, work out when you can, and then try a compression vest because it covers SO MUCH of the problem, and then get surgery when you can afford it.

I haven't felt that good in years.
we need more of that in the world.

the strange thing is i was remembering staying at the poolside at a party with friends in the water, and i was thinking sometimes it's not just the big nasty stories, though they're the worst and we all have them, sometimes it's death by a thousand paper cuts too.

I think a better question would be ........

What good memories do you have since getting gyne, honestly i have NONE. All the good times i had were in the shadow of this gyne BS and trying to find a solution. Its not easy let me tell you. If you think any doctor can help you are really in for an awakening. Its sickening and hard to find good help. I can't find a surgeon i trust so i just continue to suffer.

Everything i do is disturbed by others looking and commenting etc about my chest....its so rude and such bs it totally pissin me off. I wonder how others would take someone staring at their flaws and publicly emabarrassing them. The wrong person is going to set me off one day . I think i'm mentally ill.....

The only good memory I've had since living with gyne, was finding this site. The feeling I had when I found out about gyne being a medical condition really took my breath away, the feeling is almost impossible to explain. And KAG, hang in there. It isn't worth beating the crap out of some low life loser. Be the bigger better man.
If you have gyne, dont expect not be laughed at.

Just like if you walk into a locker room, you're gonna see some hairy asses and dicks.

Unfortunately for me, both have occured in my life way too many times.

looks like a small gland. Also sometimes family doctors can be wrong about gyno and talk to a GP.

I am lost the last 5 or 6 entries don't seem like worst memories.

Worst memories would be like getting ridiculed on here for excepting your gynecomastia because you have to due to medical reasons, or you except it because you want to.    Or getting called a troll because you accept your gynecomastia, or because you give someone your opinion that they don't have anything to worry about, because their pictures show little if any gynecomastia!

Or how about for pointing out that all you can get on here is opinions, and that NO ONE can tell you anything because every case is very different!

Or saying that everyone young person (early to late teens) doesn't have to run out and get surgery (according to all medical reseach, excluding plastic surgeons, that all teens have no medical reason for surgery, and it is illadvised)!
Each case is different and there are NO NO two cases alike!

All in All everyone has there own choice and are entitled to there own opinions!

What people who except there gynecomastia are doing when they point out that having gynecomastia is not the end of the world, and that you don't have to run out and surgery is just giving and different perspective!

In fact I probably will get bashed for my statements I just made, anyone who has .
