this is my first post and im surprised to not have seen posted what makes ME extremely uncomfortable .....that is the stare down at your chest when involved in a conversation with someone or arround other people ....its like your saying something or explaining something to someone and right in the middle of them listening , they give that stare or look ....it makes your brain go from your conversation to realy self conscience mode , total confidence killer ....ive gotten the breast jokes but for the most nobody says anything but from those stares they obviously notice .....from the cases on this on this site , id rate my own gyno at arround 8 or so .....i dont have pics and im about 2 weeks post op with dr jacobs .....like others , ive been afraid to go out in public in the warm weather and shopping for clothes is a nightmare because i cant just buy what i want ....everything i buy revolves arround how my moobs look in it ....it has consumed my life and anyone without this problem will NEVER  understand .....for the most part i deal with it by just ignoring it and just living and doing the best i could to cover it ....that only goes so far

Congrats on the surgery BMB65.
If you have gyne, dont expect not be laughed at.

Just like if you walk into a locker room, you're gonna see some hairy asses and dicks.

Unfortunately for me, both have occured in my life way too many times.

I think I know what type of stare your talking about, I used to get those all the time in pools. We'd be socializing and then theyd analyze me up and down, then their eyes just freeze on my chest for a couple of seconds. Its like their receiving the msg from their eyes to their brain "boobs".

sounds stupid but i can understand how a woman feels when a guy stares at their chest but at least women are supposed to have boobs .....i notice the stares when im fully dressed let alone pools ....

Atleast for women when people stare at their chests it can be a good thing and raise sexual value. But for a guy with gyne, theres no good reason when people staring at your chest. I wonder what they say about my chest when Im not around.

You're story sounds similar to someone elses story. That's crazy how messed up just being around a pool can ruin your day.

What really gets me is when a woman wears a very 'low cut' top and push-up bra with her girls almost hanging out, and we have a good look at'em... Many of them would say 'wtf are you staring at buddy?' Wheeeelllll excuuuusssseee me! If they don't want anyone checking their girls out, then why do they wear such 'revealing' tops?    GAWD!!!

That's my rant for the day!

lads at school telling me i had breasts,as if i didnt know.it messis your day up -worst one was being asked to give my football top to this lad who was going to replace me on the pitch and id forgotten to put an extra tshirt underneath, then when i refused the teacher saw red and made me do it ,i swear to god i nearly passed out.at least when you leave school no one can make you remove your top but every thing seems to revolve around not letting anyone see them

im 1 month post op but can remember never taking my shirt off for anything ....well one time i pretty much had the option of either taking my shirt off to go in the pool for gym or REALLY drawing attention to myself by not taking the shirt off ....needless to say , somethin told me to just do it so i took it off pretty much for the first time in public and i was so embarresed ....and i know it was bad because nobody even smirked but all were looking and when i went to make eye contact they would look away real fast .....i try to just forget about it ....im  so glad they are gone !
