One of the biggest issues for me in wearing a bra and underwear is the gym. It’s a fairly discreet trip from work to gym on a road with not much going on and will often just quickly change in the car, opting to take my bra off in the process and going braless in the gym to avoid anyone seeing the longer endowed lines on my back or chest through my shirts that I feel are quickly identified as a bra not a tank top even in the tank top style bras.

Anyone else have realizations of things that helped you get over the security of garment but insecurity of it being seen?

Old timer here. Practiced for 44 years and have seen a lot. I should/ could write a book. It would not include anything about a bra in a locker room. When I got to 44C I just went to ‘ It is what it is ‘ . Now years later  at 44D it is interesting to note that not one remark has ever been made and I go very frequently and make no effort to conceal my condition.

Have thought about that but in retirement there’s not a lot extras for luxury or experimentation.

I can't go up a flight of stairs let alone run without some level of support, and my boobs and nipples are.much more noticeable without a sports bra. I can wear a loose fitting tank with a pullover sports bra, with it jist looking like I have larger pecs and a compression shirt if anyone took notice. I've accepted bras for 2 years now, and I've also realized that the only reason I was hypervigilant about pokies and bra straps being noticed is because I have them and was fixated on them. I've never had anyone notice or say anything.

I too have come to that same conclusion. While not trying to provoke, if I show, then I show. And using hacks that women use to make their bust lines less noticeable because they're times women don't want to be noticed either but it's still obvious they have a bust line. Using that has been a good thing for me.

A bra definitely works for me and brings important benefits.  Panties don't work for me, the gussets are not wide enough to keep everything in place and bits pop out here and there. Definitely don't feel confident or comfortable in Panties.   Occasionally I  do wear special tucking panties which are specifically designed to smooth and hide the male anatomy. These are useful when wearing leggings but as they are quite compressive I  wouldn't want to wear them long-term.

I've never worried about panty lines showing but i do worry about my bra being noticeable through my shirts.

Wow, a lot of pertinent information here.

I was at a 7 day 43 family reunion.  We are the oldest, lots of hugs.  I wore a size smaller spaghetti bra and pushed my boobs sideways.  i believe it worked.  It was uncomfortable for the breasts, and felt like a Nun.  I don't think anyone noticed.  I just need to get over it.

I was a gym rat after retirement, 14 years ago.  Had a bilateral tendonitis on a butterfly machine.  Never went back.

My surgeon said that a 40 year old brain in 63 year old body is his money.

At 75, I wear a sports bra and muscle shirt for my 3 mile daily walks.  No seems to notice.  When it get warmer, i will switch to tank tops.  That may be more of an issue with straps.

Life is short.  Live it as we choose.
