There is absolutely no question in my mind. You absolutely need to see a Doctor. Preferably an Endocrinologist.

The matter of a bra would be strictly a question of comfort.

What is your height and weight? How does your height compare with other males in your family?

Do you think of Klinefelter's syndrome?
A bra is just an article of clothing for people with breasts.

No one here can tell you what you should or should not wear.

I can see that you may find a good fitting bra to be comfortable, but it would make your breasts even more obvious.

The ultimate decision is yours alone.

At this point, I think it is most likely that this guy is simply playing games with us. I am past taking him seriously any longer.

If the photos provided are anywhere near a fair representation of himself a bra should be the least of his worries, he should be seeing a Doctor. I suspect he "found" those pictures that he posted.

His total refusal to see a medical professional or get aid from a friend or family member indicates a lack of sincerity.

If he is so totally isolated as he would have us believe, How could he purchase a bra anyhow? He claims to have little to no freedom and (probably) no access to funds to make the purchases.

There are some inconsistencies in the postings of crash99. Anyway, it would make sense to close the thread. I'll not go to answer here anymore.

gotgyne: it is not your place to judge crash99.  If you think he is lying then so be it...no skin off your back.  However, if he is in fact telling the truth then you publishing your suspicions or recommending that his thread be deleted will do no good in supporting him, which is the focus of this forum.  Don't be a douchebag, dude

Crash99: The bad news is that your gyno is extremely severe and may be an underlying hormonal issue.  The good news is that endocronologists can give you medication to correct your hormonal balance.  Whats more, insurance may actually pay for surgery considering your level of pain and an hormonal issue(if you have one).  An endo's recommendation of surgery will bear ten times more weight than a plastic surgeons.  Convincing your insurance may be difficult considering their opposition to paying for it, but I believe it is actually possible with your case.  Consider getting a recommendation from 2 or more endo's AND sending photographs to your insurance to demonstrate the severity of your condition.  A picture is worth a thousand words.  You will likely need to be persistant and appeal to them multiple times.  If they absolutely refuse to cover it after appeals then I would have a sit down talk with your parents and beg them to pay for surgery.  If they won't then maybe a grandparent will help you.
In the interim I would get a heavyweight compression garment.  I have tried several brands and like the ones from menbreasts.com the best (note the spelling).  They are actually a cotton/lycra mix which makes them way more comfortable than the all lycra/spandex type.

I'm very sorry for the severity of your condition and I truly hope you can find a way to get surgery.

We appreciate you fessing up and being honest about it.

You need to be considerate too that this is not a fun topic for anyone who has it or has a loved one with it.

Most people have a heck of a time showing off what they have in attempt to get some idea how good/bad they have it.  So posting someone else is really a slap in the face to those here.

You can attempt to make right and fix it, some are forgiving, some may not be.  You ask us for a serious answer to your question yet won't be honest with us on what condition you have.
