My wife would disagree! she is a 36B and said she would not want to be my size, ever! I tried sleeping in bras, and didn't really care for it. I tried in the magic bra and that was better but still decided that I didn't need to.

Being as big as I am, I would have to say as far as fitting a bra may be easier, but when it comes to many other things like hiding them it would be better to be smaller. I don't know either, I can't remember what it is like not to have breast anymore.

phm,

Of the many styles available, there are minimizer bras. They are intended to minimize rather than accentuate the breast. Unfortunately they are commonly available in larger cup sizes and may be difficult to find in small cup sizes.

Hammer,  Bman,  PaaPaw.
Thanks for the help guys.  Will have to give the minimizer a try.  Funny how our stories are similar in so many ways and then again different.  This is indicated with Bman and I.  Like you Bman, don't know if I will ever be comfortable with nothing on but the bra in front of my wife.  But then again with my size, I believe a bra would be impossible to sleep in.  I'll get it figured out one of these days.  On a good note, the hard part of this deal is over.  There is another thread on this forum about what doctors have said to us. I met a female doctor the other day. Her comments and my take on the matter might be interesting.  Check it out and let me know what you think.

Has anyone tried the Leading Lady Seamless Microfiber wirefree or underwire?

I have a Hanes 40B underwire now that I lost some weight and now it seems to fit ok compared to before.  I like the suppport without the constant squish pressure, and measuring it seems to have outwardly the pretty close measurements as my sports bra.  Just the adjusters and band clasp I am concerned about being seen.

Bman41, I can understand your concern about anyone noticing the adjusters and band clasp.  I've worn a 38B underwire bra on a regular basis for nearly 5 years.  The good news is that I've never noticed any telltale straps under buttoned shirts or knit/polo shirts although I also wear an undershirt.  Additionally I've never noticed any on-looker eyes that appear to see something out of the ordinary.  Hopefully you'll find that wearing a regular bra provides great support and is more comfortable than a sports bra.

I really find that I may notice a bulge or spot here and there, but no one else notices. and if they do, they certainly dont say anything. If its more comfortable, wear the bra. No need to have to stick to sports bras or those unsupportive seen on TV bras.

one has to ask them self, could you see yourself walking up to someone and asking them, something like "hay buddy you got a bra on, or ladies under wear". I know that I can see myself doing it. If they do see a hint of something, they don't have any idea how you are, so who cares? If they have the balls to ask, ask them, if they get off on "man boobs".

I think it depends on ourselves how we deal with the whole thing. If we, who accept our gynecomastia, are not embarrassed with a noticeable bra in public this may come true in the future. If we hide it, I don't see any chance.
A bra is just an article of clothing for people with breasts.

Good point... there's a good chance my co-workers have noticed my bras, but if they've noticed, they haven't said anything, and I care a lot more about the discomfort I get when I go braless than I do about their opinions of my underwear.
I think in general, most people are hesitant to talk about or judge others' undergarments because it's really none of anyone's business, and if you're wearing a bra under your clothes, you aren't making it anyone else's business.
I used to have less-noticeable bras for work and other bras for home, but now I don't usually worry about whether they show. I just pick bras that are comfortable and match my clothes.

As I am fairly large busted for my body size I wear a minimizer sports bra, they do a very good job of keeping me comfortable when I am out and about. If it is cool outside I will often wear a more traditional full coverage bra for the comfort and support, but these are not generally made to minimize your bust line, in fact they often enhance it. As I am self employed I have to be somewhat careful what other think as perception is all to often peoples reality.

I try hard to make sure not seen, more of my family and young kids.  I don't think they know, if they do they have never said or reacted.

At work I am less concerned.  But I still try hard to be very discreet about it.  I wear a compression shirt over it to hide the band and strap adjusters though.

I have lost some weight recently, my band size has decreased some, but the cup size hasn't.  I found an Playtex T641 38D that I bought on sale for my wife online when I bought her some that she wanted but it never fit her and it seems to fit me pretty well now.  I am not that big, but it fits well oddly enough.

I am going to keep pushing to loose more weight, I really need to.

losing the weight is always a good thing no matter what! from 2007 I am down 60lbs and I would love to lose another 70 to be back to near my pre-navy weight, but like you my cup size or do I dare say the breast size has not decreased! I already have the problem that they arrive to my destination before I do, so if I ever lose the weight that I would like to, they may need their own zip code, and I will need to go to Omar the tent maker for my bras!

Oh, whats a guy to do?

Omar the tent maker ...

I like the Rubáiyát of Omar Khayyám. At first I learned about it from the movie "Pandora and the Flying Dutchman", directed by Albert Levin in 1951.

I have liked my full support Just My Size bras most of the time, but lately I have not been comfortable in them! It is almost as if they are to small, however I don't think that I gotten any bigger! The bras feel binding and tight. They are not very old, only a couple months.

The only ones that feel good right now are the Magic Gravity Bras that I have.

Has any one had this problem before?
