I’m enjoying less pain and discomfort in my day courtesy of wearing support.  So far, given the one side being an A ( little sister) and the other side a B and my band of 42, I haven’t found a bra that works. ( will look into mastectomy bras in the near future).  So I find myself in bralettes and sports bras. But I got over my hangups/barriers about getting a bra quickly given the comments and support of this community.  So far I purchased 2 sport bras and 5 bralettes, so there is something I’m enjoying about the thought and feel of wearing a bra.  I’ve pretty much worn one every day since I made my first purchase.

I am 79 Male 10 years ago I developed Atrial Fibulation a Heart problem. Two things happened I went on a mix of Meds and had a pacemaker defibrillator fitted. The med gave me slight breast growth and the incision to fit the pacemaker caused my left breast to drop. The combination of the PM and the breast was very uncomfortable. After discussion with my surgeon and my wife I tried different bras. I found a pull over padded or a T shirt bra was quite effective. Using a 38a hard to find or 38b a bit loose. 5 years ago I was diagnosed with enlarged prostrateI started taking natural meds to help this. They worked well but I am now a comfortable 38b. I wear a bra pretty much 24/7 as it supports my left breast and my pacemaker. In the last few months I have grown slightly. I generally wear a full cover wired bra or structured bra, but tend to use pullover bra with pads when I go out. Going braless is very uncomfortable. My wife is OK with it.

I'm glad to hear you found relief in wearing a bra.   Sounds like you had quite the journey.  Some times we have to do what ever it takes to find comfort.
I hope you continue to have good health and joy in each day.
