You developed breasts the same time as the girls in your class did.  Were you interested in wearing a bra back then?
I tried on an older sister’s bra when I was 12 years old and it fit fine.   I don’t know what size it was.   I wear a bra every day and have done so for the last 5 years.  I should have started in my teen years.  I would have been physically comfortable.

That is a really nice bra and you look good in it.  You definitely belong in a bra as much as any woman does. What is your bra size?

  • When life gives you curves, Flaunt them! 🤗
“Double mastectomy” was brought up again today in the morning meeting with staff. They will pay for it under my insurance.

I told them, “I have been hiding my hips and breasts since I entered my teens behind bib overalls and baggy shirts and I finally accepted myself several years ago of ‘who I am.’ I now live my life of exactly as I was born and wouldn’t change a thing. Why in the heck do I care what others think about it.”

Maybe they will leave me alone for awhile.

I believe people feel uncomfortable in various situations and conversations because they are ill informed, misinformed or just uninformed.  Ignorance is the issue here.  They are uncomfortable with you and your, "situation" so the want you to change to conform to what they understand.  I wouldn't undergo a major and unnecessary operation for the sake of others.

Why do people not wish to delve into a study of new matters and learn?  I'm always on the quest for deeper understanding of an issue.

You be you, and let them be them.  (With blinders on)
