When I grew boobs as a young teen it seemed like a disaster.

But discovering that I fit a bra and realizing how I felt wearing a bra was a turning point in the journey of managing and even enjoying having boobs.
If the bra fits, wear it.

Blad,
I know that you and I had similar puberty issues. We were growing hips and breasts while the guys were growing body hair and muscles. I never liked the teasing part, but I always felt that I was supposed to have breasts and I enjoyed having them my whole life.

Ditto. It took many years for me to accept them. Lactating? No, thanks.

  • When life gives you curves, Flaunt them! 🤗
My neighbour today gave me a lecture about how I should wear "baggy dark coloured clothes and sports bras" to avoid my chest from being noticed.

I guess she didn't like my "form fitting" light coloured tee over a 44 F underwire.
When life gives you curves,
flaunt them! 💃

Before developing boobs as a teen I wanted to grow them and would wear my moms bras whenever I got a chance. As I started developing I thought it was because of the bras. I was unaware of the condition. My mom took me to the doctor and he said I would grow out of it, but I never did. As they got larger they became s source of shame and ridicule from kids at school and my family. After high school I started dating a girl that loved them and this taught me to love having them. You might say they grew on me. In my senior years I still love having them and love wearing bras to control my 44c boobs.

Same with me. Lactation (galactorrhea) could be caused by a prolactinoma. I'd seek treatment, either with drugs or surgery to stop this.
A bra is just an article of clothing for people with breasts.

I was heading that way.
Had a massive ‘ let down’ sensation one day just before the prolactin level came back elevated. Scan revealed a Prolactinoma. Started on a dopamine agonist and was able to avoid the galactorrhea
Lactation, an intriguing thought , but no thanks

Initially for me it was surprise / shock, acceptance /resignation to eventually embracing and adoring my new boobs. I do not want them to now grow any beyond where they are though.

When my breasts began budding at 32 I felt a panic and immediately sought out a surgeon to remove it before it got worse. As a man any budding felt may as well be D cups. I remember even asking co workers if it looked like my chest was sticking out more and realize how ludicrous it was to be so worried that you ask co workers if they see what you feel.
Over the course of a year I talked to a few surgeons and in the end decided against it. Primarily due to this forum at the time. I didn’t feel weird and awkward or at fault or shame with it and my breasts stalled for a little bit of time so no harm no foul.
At 36 they began growing a little more and tissue was definitively felt throughout my chest not just behind my areola.
As my chest began to soften and become mobile during general movements and discomfort took the place of forgot they were there I began wearing a bra. Again thanks to this forum and time spent here realizing it isn’t weird for a guy to wear a bra.
At 38 now I’m a C cup and have gone from please get them off me to absolutely adoring them and embracing them as part of me. I personally enjoy the aches I get when I go a day or two without a bra as it reaffirms that I need one. Not only able to wear one but need one. I see them as a blessing now and not a curse as I did when they first began growing. And feel as they have filled out my confidence and esteem has definitely gone up more than down.
Wearing a bra is still some times I can and can’t but whether in one or not it’s honestly awesome that my breasts have become present regardless.

I'm glad you feel that way and value the words form those that share here.  Thanks for sharing that.

You stated it well in that you and all of us should accept ourselves as we are.
Be well.

Thanks. Yeah, always have. Always will. This forum has helped so many along the way of its time online in aiding and providing not just great insights to supporting their breasts and the comfort of coming to terms with it. But general conversations as well. It really is more than just a forum. It’s a community

When I was thinking about having the surgery done...my wife asked me...why would you have surgery when your boobs are not a health threat. They are part of you. Would you cut off other parts of your body that you don’t like also?
