Need review on Alluremedspa (Mumbai) - Dr. Milan Doshi

Hi Brothers,

I have been suffereing frm this problem since past 10 years now and have tried everything from gym to dieting but this just doesn't go away. It started when i was 16 yrs old, was a fat child and then after 1-2 years gained some good height so lost all the weight but then the problem started and the fat around the chest area never dissappeared, i have been looking at this site since the past 3 days and have decided to go ahead with the surgery but am still confused with which doctor to select,

I thought of sandeep jain but he seems too expensive and don't want to risk myself with prashant yadav (Pune) as he charges much less than other doctors.

I thought of alluremedspa (Mumbai) as i reside in mumbai itself, so any reviews or experience about this doc would be much appreciated, i checked out the pre-post pics on his own website, and mostly 3 out of 4 people suffer from crater deformity....but i guess it could be due to some specific cases.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Yes, i went there this weekend after taking sometime off from my work, we started the discussion but just before he was about to examine my gynae. he got an urgent phone call and had to leave asap

I would soon go to his clinic and get examined...btw hv u been thr lately??

I had gone to him for consultancy before my surgery. His credentials are good and i remember someone on this website saying that the facilities in his clinic are upto the mark as well.
However chose Dr Sandip Jain (even though his price is higher than Dr Doshi by 35K)because he was recommended to me by a friend who's a medical rep in the field of cosmetic surgery. Plus his reviews on this site are very good too.
One more thing, Dr DOshi's facility is more of a daycare center where you get discharged on the evening of the surgery day itself. This bothered me a little. Spending a day and half at a fully equipped hospital post surgery made more sense to me.

I have visited to his clinic few days ago, i found him very polite and good. He quoted 56k exclude medicine post surgery, also its a day care so on the same day you would be discharged.
I am think of a surgery by next month, pls advise is the price is ok? or if you found any doctor batter & cheaper then this.

Yes i underwent surgery in March by Dr Sandip Jain. I am not the right person to guide you about Dr Milan Doshi since i was not operated upon by him. I just went to him for a consultation. All I can tell you about him is that he has the required qualifications and his facilities are upto the mark.

Yes, the price seems to be good, and there is no doubt about his credentials, only thing i was worried about is the technique he would use for the surgery, i remember reading on few sites that he uses the key hole method, which always leaves scars post-op, and also another issue is crater deformity, which is worse thn the gynae itself, so did he tell u wht kind of surgery he would perform??? is it excession+lipo?

i decided to delay my surgery as i would be travelling abroad in the next 1-2 weeks, but would b in touch, please keep me posted on ur follow ups, and all the best for the surgery, have a quick recovery and would love to read ur entire briefing along with the exact breakup of the cost.

Hi guys...this site was a big help to me wen i needed the most and now its time to payback.
M officially now free from this awful condition of mine.I got operated a 4 days before by Dr. Milan Doshi.
To start with , as I leave aborad I did not had much time in going to each n every doc for consultation.
I have come on a leave for a month and decided to choose a doctor well before landing.I already searched about Dr. Milan Doshi and told my friends to enquire about him , which they did with positive reply.
I just wanted to check the speaking behaviour of the doctor because trust me guys at the D day you need to have some positive vibration from the doctor.
Wen I went to him for consultation he explained me the surgery in details.Briefed me about my condition.He recommened me lipsuction and excission.But he said that the surgery procedures change according to the condition.He told me that as mine a lil bigger one , he will have to do both the methods together.
He charged my 59K (55K for procedure and 4k as service tax).This amount is inclusive of everything.
He told me to do a blood test which cost me around 2k.
On the day of surgery I was luckily greeted by him on the gate itself and he made me comfortable by taking me to his cabin and telling the nurses to look after me and get a room ready for me.
Though its a day care sugery but he allows to stay overnight in the rooms he has.Rooms are really good.Single rooms which good a decent bathroom , a tv , a fridge and a mircowave.(the cost of this room is included in the amount above.)
He told me if you feel you can stay overnight or you can leave in the evening if you want to.So guys though the surgery is day car ,do not worry, as you can stay ovenight if you want,But belive me you would not like to stay there more as you would e really excited to head home.(if you are mumbai).
After my room was made ready, I was accomodated inside and my first experience was WOW.yes, I said wow because I did not think that I would be provided with such a room.
My mom was with me and she also got relaxed a bit n the room.
Nurses came up and started my pre operative  preparations like anti niotics and etc.
At 11 am I was taken inside the OT and was greeted my anesthsia doc.She was polied and made me calm down by asking about my profession.N the moment i realised she gave me anesthesia , I ws deep asleep.
I opened my eyes at 1 pm.Psin ws there bt nt tht much as people here say.
My throat got sore becase of anethesia but this is normal.I got up and tried to sit but I could do it only after 1 hour i.e around 14k. As I was advised not to have any food and water a day prior after 0000 hrs , I was really hungry and thirsty. I asked for water which the burse gave it to me.Then she gave me tea and biscuit for immediate relief.
Then I got shifted to my room.There are fluids which come out of your body.For which they put band aid and cover up.This band aid was changed again at 6 pm.Till that time doctor also had visited me and told me to stand up and walk as this will help remove the fluids faster.I did.By 7 PM my vest had come.They showed me how to wear it.Nurses and later doctor explained to me how to take the medicines.
They told me to wear the vest for 2 weeks continuous and for next 2 weeks for 10 hours a day.
I will advise you to take an old tshirt and pant as the fluids may spoil your clothes during your journey back home if you decide to leave on the same day.
Rest alL was great.I ot a chance to see my chest duing change of dressing and it looks amazing.
I can upload pics now but promised to do it as soon as possible.
All the best guys.N i would recommed doc Milan DOshi for those who living in mumbai as he is good and his prices are cheaper.
Rest is your decision.

i am scheduled for surgery on tuesday
my only fear till now was the anesthesia as you hear some rare cases where the patient doesnt wake up..
apart from that wanted to know how u felt that eve
i have noone to accompany me as i stay alone, will i be able to go home that eve?? doctor doshi said i would.. just wanted ur opinion.
also what medication has he given you after surgery??

Well I have a off for 1 month so I would recover and leave India.
Besides if you alone, I would suggest you to stay overnight.As there are fluids coming out of your body , the staff there would help you out in dressing....
Besides anaesthesia prob , buddy leave it to the specialist...they know their duty well....dnt think abt it much.....
Vest is lil uncomfortable....but come on we dnt need to live with it for life...for 2 weeks we can adjust.

It's now 15 days post op and I'm starting to have my doubts about getting the surgery done
There is severe unevenness in the right and left side
The doctor claims its fluid collection on the right side
The right side nipple is puffy while the left side is completely flat
Fluid collection does not explain this
Everytine I meet the doctor he says give it time
I understand its too soon but as of this moment the right side is half the size of pre op
Where' as the left side is completely flat
I would consult Sandip Jain and consider him as an option
I no he is expensive but maybe his work is better
Also when I asked the doctor about unevenness he said both side can never be the same it's impossible
There's always a slight different even in a natural body
I find that hard to believe.

In a way I regret having the procedure done. But still hoping within time it was even out
