It is common to see some changes after discontinuing compression, since the swelling is no longer controlled by the vest, and some areas may seem puffier than others.  Often, individuals will complain that the nipple seems puffy again, especially in patients who started with a very minimal case.  After a few weeks, these things tend to resolve as the inflammation lessens and healing progresses. If the gynecomastia was removed properly, only minor changes are observed.
