Gyno Tissue NOT Behind Nipple

Hi,

I seem to have little glandular tissue clumps not only behind the nipple as is standard, but also kind of stemming out to the perimeters of my chest, like little nodules going along fibrous routes in upper and outer chest as well. I can even feel small pieces of this all the way out in the armpit/shoulder area.

From the surgical videos I've seen on youtube etc. it seems there is usually one large mass behind each nipple that is removed, but I don't see any of this periphery tissue being pulled out. Do you docs ever see this stuff in your patients or is it uncommon? If so is it removed along with the main glandular mass behind the nip? 

Just wondering if what I've got going on is normal for gyno. I have very low bodyfat so it doesn't look too bad, but the gyno tissue is really spread all over my chest in little clumps.

This is not an uncommon situation to have islands of glandular or fibrous tissue around the chest area.  However, the is not a cancer operation but a cosmetic procedure so this is the primary objective even if some unwanted tissue remains. It is difficult to say if you have gynecomastia but consultation may be helpful. Good luck

It is not uncommon for the tissue to spread onto the chest. The tissue that is often most undesirable is that which lies at and below the level of the areolas. I don't often touch the upper pec but this is determined case by case.

Breast tissue can occur along the "Mammary Line" which is what all mammals (humans included) have in common. I have seen accessory nipples many times in guys. Full fledged breast enlargement in accessory locations is not usual and I would certainly get examined and get a work up for any possible cause of such stimulation.
