I am in the national guard and have tricare reserve select

I am having problems finding a surgeon that will do gyno surgery.

None of the three closest on this board (Dr. Wilcox, Hamas, and Albin) take tricare.

I live where arkansas oklahoma texas and Missouri join.

I would travel overnight if I had to in order to see a tricare approved surgeon, but I can't locate one. And calling tricare was no help either, they can only look up doctors names and tax IDs, they cant see if tricare approved doctors in my area do gyno surgery.

Any help is appreciated

I don't know much about Tricare--do you know if they'll even pay for gynecomastia and what their criteria for coverage are?  I know a friend who is a veteran who had his gynecomastia treated in the VA system--you might see if that's a direction you can take, though you may not find an experienced gynecomastia surgeon there.  My friend was treated in stages...first liposuction then excision...and his course seemed much more challenging than what my patients go through.  I haven't seen his final result, but I understand he's satisfied.
