Post Surgery Puffy Nipples

About six months ago I had gyno surgery (ultrasonic lipo plus excision of tissue beneath the nipple).  Six months later, my nipples were still puffy and I also had a scar tissue under both nipples.  Last Friday, my doc. removed the scar tissue along with a nipple reduction which was at my request.  When leaving the office, my nipples were flat.  It looked great.  Today is Monday and my nipples are more puffy than prior to the surgery.  Is this normal?

I suggest that you vist your MD, specially if you did not apply compression after surgery. It may either just be swelling or it may be a Hematoma (blood collection). Your surgeon will be able to clarify and put your mind at ease.
