Is there any chance after surgery that the gene can come back? I don't do any steroids or drugs... I got Gyne in puberty rather naturally in my opinion. My case isn't very minor, so I'm wondering if the surgery will be worth it if the gene can just grow back :/

In cases of gynecomastia that occur during puberty, it's rare that they should recur, since you only go through puberty one time.  Some of the hormonal changes that lead to gynecomastia can arise, as you've observed, from steroid use, and gynecomastia can result from use of some medications, but these are rarer events, and your heightened awareness of the condition should allow you to avoid those situations.  For that reason, your surgery should be a one-time endeavor, barring unusual future events.

Correction of Idiopathic Gynecomastia is typically effective with a single surgery. There are some factors such as weight gain or steroid use which can adversely effect the outcome.
