Scar Tissue And Nipple See-Through Shirts

So for the first 2-3 weeks after surgery when i put t shirts and other light colored clothing my nipples didnt poked through them like they did pre surgery, now they do again, is this because of the scar tissue? How long would this last and how can i make it go away faster? Thanks.
